We have worked hard to ensure the South Asian legal community is represented and counted in a number of ways that impact the overall diversity and inclusion efforts of the greater Austin bar. Here are a few examples:

• We sit on the Austin Diversity Report Card Committee and have added South Asians to the number of partners, associates and summer clerks that are tracked among all major law firms in Austin.

• We have become a formal chapter of the South Asian Bar Association of North America, and under this umbrella, we now have access to a national network of judges, in-house attorneys, and private practice attorneys in every major state and metropolitan area in the United States and Canada.

• We are represented on the South Asian Bar Association of North America Board of Directors and Executive Committee, allowing us a seat the table for all major Bar decisions and activities

​

• We regularly host networking events with our own and other bar associations in Austin

​

• We co-hosted a meet the candidate forum along with every major bar association in Austin

​

• We plan and offer CLE programs on a variety of legal topics
